The B1 German level is the intermediate stage of language learning, as outlined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). At this level, you can understand and use German in everyday situations more independently, handling various tasks and interactions with more fluency.
This level introduces more complex grammar, such as subordinate clauses, reflexive verbs, and the past tense. You’ll also focus on improving reading comprehension for longer texts, writing structured paragraphs, and expressing yourself more confidently in a variety of social and professional contexts. B1 marks a step towards being able to live and work in a German-speaking environment.
